Four thousand dollars Is the sum
that will be expended on the corner of
Third and Jefferson this summer,
when the brick structure now about
completed, and the one under process
of construction Is finished. The out
lay of improvements Is being done by
'Avery Harrison and M. A. Harrison,
ex-county Judge of this county. The
Junior Harrison has a commodious
home about completed. The structure
proper, is of brick and the roof gam
breled. Adjoining this building Is
where M. A. Harrison will build a
similar building, workmen being now
engaged In constructing the cellar.
This building activity only bears out
the statement made by The Observer
some time ago, that La Grande is on
the eve of a building age.
