ALCOHOL IN 'SICKNESS.;
At ono ,of tha London public hos

.Therefore t;ia use of alcohol in sick
ness is not itl be regarded as a neces

scribe alcohoi. in solution with drops
tot their patient there was one phy-
not believe in using alcohol. Many
years ago when Dr. K. V. Pierce de
cided to put np his valuable Trescrip
tion" for the diseases of women in. a
"ready to use" form he used as a
Solvent and preservative chemically
pnre glycerine of proper strength,
which is a better solvent and preserva
tive of the active medicinal principles
residing in most of our indigenous or
native plants than is alcohol. Dr.
Pierce found that the glycerine, be
sides being entirely harmless, possesses
intrinsic medicinal properties, of great
value.
No woman who is suffering from
InHiimiuation, from the pains and
drains incident to womanhood can
afford to be without Dr. Pierce's Fa
vorite Prescription. An honest medi
cine which has the largest number of

United States. Dr. Pierce tells you

Prescription."
