The inconveniences that have exist
ed In reaching points beyond Elgin on
the George Palmer Lumber company's
spur truck for the past few weeks,
have been overcome through an an
nouncement by-the company In this
city that hereafter the traveling pub
lic can secure trantipnrtrxtlun to the
Junction from Elgin. The tickets for
this trip are on sale at the Elgin de
pot and will cost 85 cents. This mukes
the total fare from La Orande to the
Junction 11, the trip calling for two
purchases of tickets. Through trans
portation cannot be hud nt the local
office.' Tills arrangement will be
boon to fishermen and anglers who
wish to reach the Interior without
Hinging out of Elgin.
