Mrs.A. O. Hagans underwent an
operation (for appendicitis at the
Grande Ronde hospital this afternoon
Her condition Is considered serious.
Mrs. Hngnns suffered a severe at
tack of this disease four years ago.
A second attack came on very sud
denly yesterday afternoon. So viru
lent was the seizure that the appendix
ruptured this forenoon and her physi
cians frar that the poisonous contents
of the appendix may have become o
widely distributed throughout the ab
dominal cavity before operation, as to
render the condition very grave and
the outcome doubtful.
