odist Episcopal church, accompanied
by Mrs. Currey and Mrs. O. C. Osburn,
leave Saturday morning for Baltimore,
where the conference - convenes on
May 6.
This Is one of the largest ecclesias
tical gatherings In America. At this
session there will be no less than 800
delegaets, composed equally of minis
ters and laymen of equal authority.
The last general session was held four
years ago at Los Angeles. Baltimore
has thus been honored six times pre
viously, first In 1794, then in 1811
1820. 1824, 1840 and 1876. The ses
sion Is expected to continue 30 days.
The party will stop on their way ai
Salt Lake, Ogden, Colorado Springs
Denver, Kansas City and St. Louis
From the latter point they will visit
Memphis and possibly Atlanta, Ga.
returning via Chicago over the Oreal
Northern or Canadian Pacific. Thl
will undoubtedly be a most Interesting
trip to all three, as they are all na
tive born Oregonlans, and this will b
their first trip east of the Rockies.
They expect to be 'absent about six
weeks.
