SCOIIES COMING TO NIGHT.
Fane YUI Get Iiawhall Returns Right
Off the Reel Tonight.
Full plans have been made for se
curing baseball score returns In this
city and, we are pleased to note, the
service will commence tonight, one
day earlier than had been hoped for.
The two boards which will at present
receive the returns, are up and ready
for use.
The Pacific Coast league score will
reach here between S and S o'clock
each evening, and the American and
National perhaps a trifle later. The
Observer has been complimented in Its
efforts to procure this score sheet,
and as has always been the 'case. Is
the medium whereby the sporting ele
ment of the city procures Its outside
news. Look for the results of the
games throughout the country this
evening.
CROWDING THE ELECTRIC.
Big Crowds Continue to Tax the Seat
ing Capacity of the Electric.
Seating capacity houses are being
played to at the New Ellctrlc this
week. The set which closes toqlght If
one or the strong kind that have a
laugh In every film.' The songs are
making a big hit this time, especially
"Couldn't Make a Hit With Molly."
The announcement made early In
the week that the "Passion" play is
to be produced In the Electric all of
next week Is meeting with much fa
vorable comment and we predict the
building will be entirely too small to
accommodate the crowds 1 that will
want to see the spectacular film. Tin
admission is 15 cents, except for chil
dren at the Saturday matinee.'
