Tho first car netted 65c per cwt, the
highest local- price at this time was
45c per cwt. So the grower was about
$40 ahead by consigning them.

Lo Angeles, Cal., April I. One man
waa killed, two Injured and score
bruised In street car collision this
morning on the Los Angeles-Pacific
line. The accident was caused by a
heavy fog and the fact that both cart
were running on single track on
which repairs were being made.
