Anniversary of Holocaust.
Washington, March SI. Today Is
the anniversary of the destruction by
fire of the United States steam trans
port General Lyon, which burned off
Hatteras on March 31, 1865, with a
loss of nearly 600 men, women and
children. So far as known by the na
vy department there are but two living
survivors of the holocaust, both now
living In Illinois. ......
