The bishop will be hero until Friday
morning, when he continues west
ward on Ills tour of his large district,
which Includes nearly two-thirds of
the state. Bishop Paddock Is whole
souled, and a genial gentleman to
meet, and having already enjoyed sev
eral years' residence on this coast, to
use his own words. "Feels like he If"
coming back home." No one can
meet the bishop without being Im
pressed that he has accepted the high
honors which have recently been con
ferred upon him, with a realization of
the responsibility and that he Is here
enthusiastic and desirous of doing hla
part In making the world better.

win the hearts of his people and they
will love htm more and more as they
become better acquainted.
