The mountain streams of Union
county are to be stocked along more
extended lines the coming season
than they have ever been, according
to plnns formulated last night at a
meeting of the Eastern Oregon Fish
& Game association.
Much has been done for local line
and pole artists In the past, and the
announcement of still greater stream
stocking, comes as a bit of pleasing
news.
The old slate of officers was re
elected at the meeting In the Com
mercial club last night. These will
serve the ensuing year and will over
seo the bringing of fry to La Grande
and superintend Its distribution to the
many streams. The officers are: H.
J. Hockenberry, president: A. V. An
drews, vice-president; George L. Clea
ver, secretary; f. T. Paeon, treasurer.
