If Old Sores wits due to outside influences, or if the cause was confined
itrictly tu tlie diH?,is,-1 n -sh aioimj tlie ulcer, tlien external treatment and
simple cleanliness ivniM cure them. But the trouble is in the blood, which
has become unlie.iUiiv nit 1 diseased, nnd keeps the sore open by continually
discharging into it the impurities ami poisons with which the circulation is
filled. Tliii; jioisnri' us condition of the blood may be the remains of some
constitutional trouble ; the eil-'ct of a long spell of sickness, or because the
natural refuse of the h . which aJiould pass off through the proper avenues,
has been Kit in the svMeui and absorbed into the blood. Again, the cause
may lie heii"iitnry ; In t it dots not matter how the poison becomes intrenched
in the blood, the f:ict thi't the sore w ill not heal is evidence of a deep underly
ing cause. Salves, washes, lylinns, etc., may cause the place to scab over
temporarily, but the blood is not made any
fmier by such treatment, and soon the old
i 'i ti .mi matioti and discharge will return and
the sore be as bad or worse than before, i
S. S. S. goes down to the very bottom of the
trouble, cleanses and purifies the blood, and
in ikes n permanent cure. S. S. S. enriches
and freshens the circulation so that instead of
discharsr'ntr unhealthy matter into the place, it carries rich, tissue-buildinc,
flesh-healing blood to the diseased parts and in every way assists in a natural
cure of the sore. Book on Sores and Ulcers and any medical advice free to
