court house this afternoon ' when the
first one to be held here will be con
vened by County Judge Gllllland and

District Attorney Phelps Is anxious
for the public to appreciate the Im
portance and the necessity of the peo
ple as a whole doing something for
the bovs of this cltv. He savs It is
but a Hhort step from the path in
which some of them are traveling to
the one which leads to the reform
K-hool and the penitentiary and that
parents cannot afford to sit Idly by
.vlth folded hands.
Phelps says It Is necessary and ab
olutely essential, in order to get
practical results in a place too small
to afford salaried probation officers.
for all the people to take an interest
In the matter and for some to take
enough Interest to be willing to act as
probation officers without remuneration.
All citizens of the city who are di
rectly or Indirectly Interested In the
juvenile court work, are requested by

This is the testimony of every typewriter user who knows
by experience the relative performance of writing machines.
"The tnan of all men who swears by the Remington is the
man who has tried to get the same service out of seme other
machine.
A man may know the Remington or he may know some
other typewriter, but the man who really knows typewriters is
the man who knows the difference between the Remington
and others.
