people of Brownsville that It would
be In operation during the summer

beyond proving that the cannery was
there for business so as to encourage
the planting of fruit for the future
use of the cannery. From the fine
start made.the first season, It may be
reasonably expected that within a
few years Brownsville will have one
of the big canneries of the state.
