losers of approximately one hundred
dollars worth of clothes-, because some
individual last evening ' took in" the en
tire wash lino jn the rear of the Rack
residence,. Mrs Rack is the heavier loser
of the two for the reason that more of
her wearing apparel was on the line at
the time that the thief happened along.
Mr and Mrs Rack attended the theatre
last evening and on coming iome discuss
ed whether or not the clothes that had

and Wabash rivers are beginning to re
cede and today the refugees of all towns
affected are holding prayer meot'igi in
the rooms unfboded. The first mail in
ten days reached here today. A launch
this morning found hundreds of refugees
on short rations, living in tents, holding
carnival in camp and dancing of n:ght.
