noon gave an old fashioned quilting party.
The object of the party was to give the
Inondsof Mr and Mrs Samuel Cochran
of Hood River, who have been visiting

city for some time, an oppjrtunity to
meet the visitors before they return to
t.ieir home. An elaborate chicken dinner
was spread before the ten gjests. after
which the quilting frames were brot out.
The afternoon was enjoyably spent and
the guests made th most of their oppor
tunity to have a social hour with the genial
old couple.
