Steamship Scotia sailed from here today
with two thousand emigrants from Bojar
and Salmanaca for Uruguay and Nicar
agua. This mikes over twelve thousand
emigrants from the districts mentioned
for the past month. They are leaving
this country to escape the poverty owing
to the closing down of a large number of
cloth factories which could not compete
with Brittish and German manufacturers.
The governments of Uruguay and Nicar
agua offered them free passages and will
advance their capital to build factories.

construction of a large car chop plant here
which will cost $3,000,000. Altogether
