Rose Dearlove has filed a suit with the
circuit court clerk asking for a divorce
from John Dearlove.

Monday in February.
The jury list will be drawn next Mon

Letters of administration have been
issued to Gust Benglesdorf in the estate
of B Keltz.
A. V. Andrews has been appointed ad
ministrator of the estate of A. A. Pross-
er, deceased.
WANTED IN PENDLETON
Sheriff Frank Childeis is in receipt of
instructions from the sheriff of Umatilla
county, which empowers him to arrest
one J. r. Mitten, who is supposed to be
in Union county. The warrant alleges
that the man wanted in Pendleton, se
cured property under f.ilsa pretenses. He
is supposed to be an agent for school sup-P'nes-

The steel which will be used in con
structing the new county bridges has ar
rived in La Grando. Bridge Constructor
J F Campbell of Fairberry Nebraska,
who represents the P. S. Esterdiy &
Company is in the city and will superin
tend the building of the steel bridge
across the Big Ditch on the Randall road
and the steel bridge across the Grande
Ronde river near the George Palmer
Lumber mill site,

W. T. Miller, formerly of Enterprise,
has purchased the Red Frcnt Livery from
Joe Woods, the former owner, ar.d has
taken possession today. Mr. Woods, the
retiring owner, will remain in La Grande,
The new proprietor is an experienced
liveryman of Wallowa county.

Monday afternoon from 2 o'clock to 5
o'clock, at the residence of J. W Scriber
Fourth Street, a public receptian will be
tendered to Bishop D. H. Moore, of Port
land, who will be in the city for the first
