Geer. editor of the Pendleton Tribune, returned to his duties this morning after attending the convention in this city. He read an excellent paper before that body last evening. ' J. H. Mitchell, who recently purchased a half interest in the Pendleton Tribune. returned this morning after spending yes terday at the convention. He entertained the convention last evening with two splendid vocal soloes. Mrs. F. E. Moore left last night for Portland in comoanv with Mrs. R K.
