Such price reducing is nothing short of wonderful is it? Beyond
that its unprecedented and unmatchable, considering the season. It
encourages immediate buying as no suit offerings ever did.
"Encourages" we say, mora than that, it demands or compels
buying. Savings of one half on a stylish, seasonable, and needed suit
is far too unusual to resist.
No thrifty, prudent woman whose wardrobe has room for one of
these suits will attempt to resist such opportunities. And we expect
many women will take two or three or even a half a dozen.

Takio, Dec. 5. The Kokomin Shimhun.
says editorially, that it thinke the San
Francisco situation is not so hopeless as
thought to be and entertains the idea that
Roosevelt will be able to adjust the matter.
It goes on and further states that it re
veals the weak point in the American po
litical organization.
Ch'cago, Dec. 6 Democrats predict a
political upheaval as a result of Roosevelts
treatment rf the Japanese situation and
says Bryan's chances are heightened.
Tne Herald says that it thot Roosevelt
more of a Jefferson Democrat than a
Republican, but now regards the threat to
send troops to San Francisco, as alienat
ing him forever from consideration as the
same class as Jefferson and this action
will reinstate Bryan as the unequivocal
leader of the Democratic hosts.
Sydney Van Wyck, Jr , says that Bryan
never arrogated to the federal govern
ment anything half so radical and natur
ally the people will turn to Bryan and the
Democratic party, which does not inter
fere with the sovereignty of states.
