The Dalle. Or., Nov. 29. Today has
certainly been an off day for the 0. A. C.
The second team was defeated by a score
of 28 to 0. The Agies were outweighed
about 16 pounds to the man and were al
so outplayed. The Columbia t m was
able by their superior weight to hammer
the 0. A. C. line at will for yardage. The
field was 30 yards shnrt which also helped
run up the score. 0, A. C. beys played
a good hard game.

NAVY WINS
(Scrlppt New Association)
Philadelphia, Dec. 1 The Army and
Navy football teams today wound up the
season in the East with a great exhibi
tion of football. The first half ended
nothing to nothing.
The navy defeated the army by a score
of ten to nothing.
GAME CALLED OFF
The football game, which was suddenly
arranged yesterday between Island City
and La Grande, to be played at the base
ball grounds this afternoon, was as sud
denly called off. Late last evening Island
City telephoned tie local manager that
they could not play here today, and gave
an excuse to the effect that several of
their men had suddenly been called out of
town. Immediately after the closing of
preliminaries yesterday, Manager Bay
and Captain Bacon made arrangements
for printing of tickets and dodgers, and
their refusal to play was met with disap
pointment among local followers of the
game.
CAPTURED OUTFIT
Gambling devices valued at $18,700
were seized in a police raid at New York.
The plant was in an express office, con
