Johnny Thompson's little baby is quite
sick with pneumonia.
Inez Johnson, a pupil of the school, is
bedfast with the lagrippe.
Mr. Shea and family have moved over
to the Pendleton side of the mountain to
take charge of another section. By
his move the Hilgard school lost
two good workers, Ethel a:d Elmer Shea.
Mr. W. H, Williamson is now working
on the night shift for P. C. C. Co. He
reports that they now have electric light
vice.
A quarrelsome "dago" last night struck
Mr. Dixion over the head with a lantern.
He watched to catch Mr. Dixon off his
guard, slipped up behind him and gave
quite a severe, but not a serious blow.
The "dago" left camp at once. As the
Co. owes him, he will perhaps come back.
If he does he will perhaps have to meet
the demands of the law.
Ira Cantrell and Walter Young became
pupils of the principal's room this week.
Walter Young graduated from the eighth
grade last year.
