Of SUGAR BEETS GROVVH
Fifteen"thousand five hundred tons of
sugar beets 'represent an enormous
quintity of beets, but that is the amount
that has been pulled thruout the Grande
Ronde valley this fall, according to Mr.
Bramwell of the sugar factory. Of this
amount, all but a thonsand tons have
been cut.
There are still many many tons of
sugar beets in the ground growing proli
ficly. due to the warm rains that have
soaked the valley In the past few days.
The beet pulling industry is at stand
still because of these showers but it is
hoped that ere this week i over, the
rains will have subsided enough to allow
Resumption of the beet harvest. The
.only real difficulty the arly rairs are
resurrecting, is that the roads wilt be
come so heavy and muddy that hauling
I will be greatly handicapped. No esti
mate has yet been made of what the
j total crop will be, but It is likely that
twenty thousand tons will include the
crop of the Grande Ronde.

SUCCESS IN NERVOUS PROSTRATION
in nervous prostration, wh'ch be re
garded at a culmination of nerve troubles
osteopaths have achieved unparalleled
success. The cause of trouble are found
to be spinal irregularities depression of
ribs, and other anatomical wrona adiust
ments. Each case calls for special studv.
and special treatment, but the equipment
or the Usteopath is amiole for this wnrk
and the results he achieves are excellent
many cures having been effected in case
wnere an other method have sig-ially
failed.
It it of course frequently the case that
nerve troubles are the result of other
disease, just a i often the fact that
other diseases, are the result of affections
of nerves: but all of these case never
theless come infallibly within the province
or Usteopathic treatment. The primary
trouble is found in misadjuslinant. This
in some cases causes irmerfdi-.t fnnrtinn.
ing of an organ, with bad ntrvous condi
tion as a result; while M others it occa
sions directly a bad nervous condition
which results in some organic disease.
In either case the correction of the "lesion"
or misadjustment. is the first step toward
cure.
It should be remembered, of cour
that Osteopathy does not rely solely upon
its system of manual manipulation. It
takes advantage of all p r.per sanitary
and hygienic measures, which are often
very helpful indeed, and leaves no stone
unturned to give its patients the benefit
of the best knowledge that there it in
every case, so the t the best results mav
be attained in the quickest possible time.
