RECEIVED THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS
Fred Swaney, secretary of the Brother
hood of Locomotive Engineers of this
division yesterday received a draft from
the head office for three thousand dollars
for Mrs. D. Goves. This was the amount
of the policy held by her husband in the B.
of L. E. It will be remembered that Mr
Groves was the engineer who was killed
while working on the Rock Creek lumber
road near Perry.
