BCITTAJN CASE REVIVED (Pndlton E. O.) Major Lee Moorhous has teewved a letter from Mr. and Mrs. R. 1 Brittain of Walla Walla, asking him to make inquiries among th Indian regarding th kidnap ing of their littl boy Ccil. from th toll gat last summr. In th letter th par ents say that a man living near Touchet. Washington, was recently told something regarding th cas by an Indian named Winnistor, who lives near Adams. Know ing that Major Moorhouse. thru th friendship that exists between himself and th Indians, would be able to learn the truth of the story, th grief-stricken parent decided to ask his a.d. Major Moorhouse says he will learn what he can from the Indians regarding tne story that has been Circulated, but he fears there is little foundation for it. However, as many Indians were in the mountains at the time of the boy's strange di.appearance, it may be that ome of the tribe know something about the case. SARAH A. BERRY Mrs. Sarah A. Wallowa News. NEW HOPE EOR DYSPEPTICS Digestion depends upon two factors muscular activity, mixing the food mass with the digestive fluids while moving it on through th alimentary tract and the various digestive ferments found in the fluids of th mouth, stomach and int.s tines. These ferments are prepared and secreted by glands, bi,' and little. The big glands constitute complete organs, like the pancreas and liver, while . the smaller glands exist in the cells of t' e stomach and intestines. Unless bloid comes to each organ and to each microscopic gland at work within each organ and in proper quantity, se cretion is interfered with. It will not be normal in quantity or sufficiently high grade in quality, under such conditions, to do the w.rk of digestion. Witn any such variation in secretion there will be, in consequence, retarded and imperfect di gestion of food, abnormal fermentation, malnutrition. pa:n and. perhaps, my one or all of the symptoms characterizing dys pepsia in any of its forms.
