It is an attractive building that adds greatly to the appearance of the grounds on which are located the Willamette University proper and other structures belonging to the institution. It was presented to the University by Mrs. Kimball, wife of Dean H. D. Kimball, who wished to express their faith and confidence in the president, Dr. John H. Coleman, whom they have known in past years. Feeling the great need of a theo logical school in this section of Methodism and believing Willamette University would improve and multiply its value with such department, Mrs. Kimball decided to build one and present it, and Dean Kim ball will devote his services graciously as head of the school.
