Oregon OBITUARY Charlio E. Hammaclc was born in Union county. Oregon. July 24, 1876. He married Miss Sena Kneutzer of Spokane May 21, 1904. Departed this life Sept. 14. 1906 in North Yakima, Washington. He leaves a wife, one brother, S. B. Hammack of Walla Walla, Wash., and three sisters. Mrs. Mary Minnie and Mrs. Alice Metcalf of Spokane. Wash., and Mrs. J. J. Beldin of La Grande. The body was brought here and after a service conducted by 0. H. Wilkinson, of Minneapolis, ar rived in the city this morning. Mr. Wilk inson is chief engineer for the George Palmer Lumber Company, and is here to look after the construction of the new mill. Work at the mill site is progressing rapidly at the present time, but still furth er effort will be made to hasten the com pletion of the mill.
