Kau man and Tommy Burns, who achieved fame by defeating Marvin Hart and then accepting a match with Bob Fitzsimmons will fight a ten round battle at Tom Mc Careys Pacific Athletic Club to night. Many prominent sports from all parts of the Pacific coast are here to witness the fight which promises to be unusually interesting. Editor: Please substitute Al. Kaufman for that of Hugo Kelley. The match will be at catch weights and the winner of the match will be matched to box Sam Berger. IMBlfR ITEMS On Friday evening Aug., 50 1906 the members of the L. D. S. Church of the linbler Ward met at the Meeting House and gave a suprise on J. H. Salisbury and wife which was a grand succes. The house was decorated for the oc casion and a great feast by all. After supper a very well rendered program was given, at which the conclusion Mr. Sails bury was presented with a very beatiful desk clock and Mrs. Sailshury. was presented with a fine photograph Album. The presents were presented by Miss Stella Salisbury with complements and best wishes of the members of thelmbler Ward to their esteemed Bishop and wife Mr. Salisbury ano family will go to Logan Utah for the winter where their children will attend school. They will return next spring after school is over.
