moved to Pendleton from Prarie City
where Mr. Carver hat been for th.

the statistics for the year ending today
the past year has been the greatest cot
ton year in the history of this country.
The crop was large and not only were a
large number of new cotton mills built
during the year, but also many other
manufacturing establishments which use
cotton as a raw material. The mw con
sumption of cotton has also greatly in
creased by the many additions which have
been made during the past year.
