An ObstuvtH representative visited
Union yesterday arid' was royally entef-

who drove us about the city and along the
route of the road where active work is
being pushed.
About fifty men are now engaged and
this week all of the grading and most all
of the bridges and tressels between Union
and the Cove will be completed. For
several miles along the road bed the ties
are already distributed. Thousands more
are now stacked in Union and at one
ti-ne yesterday we counted five wagons
headed towards the junction and each
loaded with forty ties that were the equal
of anything on the main line of the O. R.
