The crowd that patronized the Catholic

the management From an early hou r
until after ten o'clock the waitresses were
kept busy waiting on the visitors, the net

Besides being a financial success there
was a splendid program rendered

crowd had to wait, enjoy . themselves
by listening to various number on the prog

A huge arch light suspended over the
center of Mr. Foley's lawn furnished the
illumination but the white beams of the 'ight
which emanated from this source
intermingled with the dull glow of the
many Japanese lanterns arranged about
the lawn in a way that lent it a beauti

KISSED Wlff BY MISTAKE
According to a newspaper account. Judge
Orville Davit Jones, of Edina, Mo., who
was populist candidate for governor of his
state in 1896, is being sued for divorce on
an entirely new g.ound that of kissing
his own wife by mistake. The mistake
was so Mrs, Jones alleges that the
judge took her to be the servant girl,
Katie, and administered a more fervid
salute than any that had come her way in
some year. It wa not the fervor in
volved in the osculation tnat Mrs. Jones
objected to, but.the vicariousness.
