San Diego, Cal July 27 The sixtieth
anniversary of the raising of the United
States flag in this city is celebrated todav
by the entire population with great en
thusiasm, in honor of the occasion the
old Fort Stockton was restored as near
as possible to its original appea ranee and
there the exercises will be held this after
noon. The Mayor of the city and a
number of other prominent speakers will
deliver patriotic addresses and veterans
of ths Civil War and other patriotic or
ganizations will be present in full force.
