A PARISIAN ROVUTT
At last novelty has arrived in the
way of bareback riding It even goes so
far as to interpret a dramatic sketch
a-horse back. To The Great Adam Fore-
paugh and Sells Brothers' Circus is due
this refreshing innovation. A gaily
dressed and buoyant party of young peo
ple on their wiy to the "Fiench Derby."
in a radiantly fashioned park drag,
drawn by four spirited horses, are the
participants in tins unique and thrilling
act. These smartly gowned young people
perform wonderful feats in an apparent
spirit of youthful abandonment. They
toss each ot.ier frum the farthest seat of
the splendid trap to the foremost horse's
back, with the graceful ease of a twirling
ball, and revolve from each others' heads
and shuulders to an upright position up. n
the sw flly moving vehicle or horse. They
pass each other high in the air in twist
ing evolutions from wagon to horse and
horse to wagon. Gymnastic turns of
the mt difficulty and rarity are enacted
by them in these hazardous positions
with the same graceful ease and nicety
precition that characterize the most
thrilling work of world renowned per
formers upon the secure foundation of
the ground. This act is distinctly new,
and sensationally startling, and is called
"On the Way to the Grand Prix Race,
Paris."
In La Grande Wednesday. August 8.
