A PAR1SIAR NOYEITT
At last a novelty has arrived in the
way of bareback riding. It even goes so
fares to interpret a dramatic sketch
a-horse back. To The Great Adam Fore
piugh and Sells Brothers' Circus is d.
this refreshing innovation. A gaily
dressed and buoyant party of young peo
ple on tneir wy to the ' Fiench Derby."
m a radiantly fashioned . Dark Arsta
drawn by four spirited horses, are the
participants in this uniaua and thrillino
act. These smartly gowned young people
periorm wonderful feats in an apparent
spirit of youthful abandonment. They
toss each ot.ier frum the farthest ai nf
the splendid trap to the foremost horse's
back, with the graceful ease of a twirling
ball, and revolve from each others' heads
and shuulders to an UDrisht Dosition im n
the sw'ftly moving vehicle or horse. They
pass each other high in the air in twist
ing evolutions from wagon to horse and
horse to wagon. Gymnastic turns of
the mist difficulty and rarity are enacted
by them in these hazardous positions
with the same graceful ease and nicety
precition that characterize the most
thrilling work of world -renowned per
formers upon the ' secure foundation of
the ground. This act is distinctly new.
and sensationally startling, and is called
un the Way to the Grand Prix Race.

A tragic finish
A watchman's neglect permitted a
leak in the great North Sea dyke, which
a child s finger could have stopped, to be
come a runinous break, devastating an
entire province of Holland. In like man
ner Kenneth Mclver. of Va. ceboro, Me.,
permitted a little cold to go unnoticed
until a traggic finish was only averted by
L)r. King's New Discovery. He writes:
" Three doctors gave me up to die of lung
inflamation, caused by a neglected cold,
but Dr. Kings New Discovery saved my
life." Guaranteed best cough and cold
