Newell Dwight H.I is. formerly of Chicago
and now of Brooklyn who opened his
course of termons and lectures on last

noon lectures and will remain unti". next
Sunday inclusive. In the following week
Dr. W. J. Dawson of London whose
lectures have aroused a great deal of
interest in the East and Middle West will
succeed Dr. Hillis and he in turn will
be succeeded by Dr. J. Wilbur Chapman
the noted evangelist. During the tame
week President Frank W. Gunsaulus of
Armour Institute at Chicago w.ll deliver a

Gibbons, who, as usual, is spending the
summer here, is quiecly celebrating hit
seventy-second birthday. In accordance
with his wish there was so for-ml cale
bration. However, congratulations poufed
in by mail and telegraph from all parts of
the globe. The summer colonists, with
whom the Cardinal is very popular, and
many friends cf the Cardinal from other
cities called during the day and for every
one the venerable jubiiar had a friendly
word.
