Miller who has been her guest.

Thaw.artived at the Tombs today dressed
in black to se her son. The pass the
mother carr'ud w ts approved and she
was permitted to ascend ui her son's cell.
Mrs. Harry Thaw preceded the elder a
few minutes.
When the mother was. ushered to the
tier where Thaw's cell is, an attendant
opened the, cell door and got a stool for
her to rest on; Harry took his wife in his
arms and rushed through the . open door
and embraced his mother affectionately
Both shed tears in which Evalyn joined.
Soon after Evelyn and Jousua Thaw re
tired leaving Harry and his mother alone,
bhe remained in the cell discussing the
trial until s'le was compelled by the rules
tolelve. ; ,
Clifford Partridge, the new attorney for
Thaw, also' spent several hours In the cell.
The cro ds on the outside were the hard
est to handle the police has., encountered
since the tragedy. ' -. ,

Catherine Creek is attracting many
anglers. Yesterday several parties from
this city went there and all came back
loaded with little beauties. Frank Bram
well and his little brother came back with
a nice string. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cot
der landed in the neighborhood of a hun
dred trout and white fish. ' Fred Sheets
was one of this party and did his share of
filling the basket. "

son Maconpaged nine years, is suffering
with a broken' arm at Summerville. Rev,
Gibson was not informed as to how the
accident occurred, and with Dr. Biggers
left for the little fellow's bedside at three
thirty this afternoon.
