DEATH OF MRS. ELLENORA
HUNTER-CHOATE
Ellnora Hunter waa born in Dayton
North Dakota May 12. 1886 being the
only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. G.
Hunter. With her parent aha came to
Oregon in 1889 and tettled at Sajem.
After residence of savan fairs in Silan
the family removed toSummerville where
her happy girlhood days were spent.
May 9th 19C6 she was united in mar
riage to Mr. Thelberth A. Choate. The
brief married life past happily and quick
ly by as the young couple resided at tho
Choate family home. She past to her
reward and eternal home June 28th, at
6 p. m. after only a brief illness. Age
20 years 1 month and 16 day. She
laft to mourn her departure father,
mother and brother along with her grief
stricken husband and a large circle of
relative and friends. At the age of 16
h professed religion and united with
Methodist Episcopal Church which fellow
ship she maintained till her death. A
a child "Ella" waa of quiet and gentle
disposition. Girlhood and young woman
hood were marked by earnest thought-
ulness and sincere devotion to home a-d
friends. In her home-going while still
the dews of youth were upon her' brow
our invaded family circle suffers a , pain
ful lost. A place in our heart and home
is vacant which can never be filled.' We
bow in humble recsgnitio of Gad'e will
knowing that be is to vwise to . rr and
and to good to obey mankind.
Funeral cervices were conducted Sat
June 30 in Presbyterian church at Summ
erville. Rev. L. S. Mochel officiating.
