WAS IT A SHOW?
The seating capacity of the Suttun
Tent show was taxed last, evening, for
one or two acts. After the spectators
saw how really cruel the villain was, and
how his every act was frustrated by the
heroine Tress appearing on the scene at
the opportune moment with a toy pistol,
and the general inability of all the so
called actors to entertain, the people
silently stole away.
Many children were attracted to the
tent by the advertisements which stated
that D.ctor somebody would present an
animal performance as a specialty, but
it happened that it would cost ten cents
extra and few endured the last acts.
The children expected who to see the
dog and pony performance, were pre
sented in the first act with an old hag
handing out the booze and supposed ruf
fians playing cards. Vulgar oaths were
numerous and many parents gathered
their little ones and hurried away.
Advance notices Informed the show
loving public that the Sutton Company
played in a water-proof tent. However
the tent appeared as though it had seen
all the horrors of the San Francisco disaster.

Eiler's big scenic Rip Van Wmkl Co.

special cars, which is said to be one of the
best shows on the road, will appear In a

medicine, of which S. A. Brown, of Ban
nettsville, S. C. says: 'They restored
my wife to perfect health, after years of
suffering with dyspepsia and a chronically
