decision to postpone the San Francisco
convention. Dr. Schaeffer says:
In view of the appalling disaster which
has visited San Francisco, it is Impossible
for the National Educational Association
to hold its meeting this year in that city.
After fully considering all the letters and

all parts of the United States, and after
carefully weighing what is due the people
ot San Francisco, the executive committee
under the authority conferred upon it by
the board of directors at its last meeting,
the board of trustees concurring, decided
to postpone the National Educational Asr ;
