. , VTHE CALIFORNIA GIRLS."
Among the new attractions announced
for this season on the burlesque trail,
"The California Girls" Is the latest addi
tiont o this field of amusement.
There are a whole lot of gtod things,
that are quite out of the ordinary, pro
mised with this new candidate for public
approval, not the least of which is a liv
ing boquet of feminine beauty and lovli
ness, which, it is claimed, makes all en
chantresses look like soiled duces in a
seveu-up deck. Then there is said to be
a chorus of cultivated female voices that
blend in delightful harmony; comedy cre
ations which are productive or tha most
hearty laughter.
Despite the fact the show is of great
magnitude and contains numberless fea
tures, the program is arranged so that
the acts follow each other in such rapid
succession that not an idle second of time
occurs from the first rise until the final
fall of the curtain.
Prominent n the
tamers wicn "ine Vjaiirornia u:rls are
"The 4 Thoroughbreds, The Amatos. Ross
and, Misses Russell and Wells, Evelyn
Fonner." A chorus of thirty beautiful
maidens in the latest musical novelties.
