and VV. L. Mayers appointed.
P. H. Dickinson was appointed county
fruit inspector for the ensuing year.

The application of Judd Geer for the
correction of certain taxes for 1905 was
granted and clerk ordered to draw a war
rant in his favor for $3.12.
The application of John McKenna for
the correction of certain taxes foe 1905
was granted anu the sheriff ordered to
take credit for $65.62.
The application of T. A. Rinehart, dep
uty assessor, for the correction of assess
ment made on property of Rachael Able
was granted and ordered that sheriff take
credit for the amount.
The application of E. J. Wilbur et al for
an addition to the town of Cove, was
granted and upon the approval of the plat
for said addition by the county assessor
and surveyor, it was ordered that the
same be recorded as by law required,

fused the proposed settlement made by
Voliva. He is willing to make financial
concessions that are asked, but demands
retention as spiritual head of the religious
city. Dowie is not so much afraid of his
money as he is the religious side of the
question. His lawyers ara busy framing
up a compromise to suggest to the prin
ciple actors in this fight for spiritual
supremacy.
