Mr and Mr O. W. Harris, of Cove are

may receive treatment from Dr. F. E.

J. E. Hoffman and Paul Paulson of
Elgin returned home this morning. Mr.
Hoffman has been ill at ease for the past
few daye because of a serious mistake
made by the postal service. Last week
he went to R H. Lloyd of Elgin, and had
affidavits made out, stating that he was
legally entitlad to a nmriage license and
furthermore tn&t he wanted on a. Mr
Lloyd pro nptly ant the swam statements
to the county c ar' here, and the papers
were duly mvJa out and sent to the
applicant. S j:na way or other the legal
paper never rec iej n.m. and Mr. Hoff
man cma tj La Grand in an effjrt to
find Mr. Lbyd, who his been here the
past few days. After a long searcX ' the
much wanted notary was fou id and the
clerk instructed to make out a duplicate
