THIRD PIANO RECITAL The pupil of Clara T. Lvle irava the'r third piano recital Saturday afternoon under her direction, at the home of Mr and Mrs. A. Anderson. The affair was attended by a number of friend of Mre. Lyle and her pupils. In the selection of piece each pupil was allowed to exercise ner own individuality. Gilham went to Ka mela this morning with registration blanks to register the voters in that vicinity. Early this morning he registered ths voters at Hot Lake. Mr. M. E. Sharp of Indian Territory is in the city today. Mr.. Sharp has been engaged in the mercantile1 and banking business and is looking over our valley with a view of locating here. . ' Cashier F. L. Meyers left Saturdiy for Portland to attend an executive committee meeting of the Oregon State Bankers Association which megts today. " J.F.Steinbeck returned this morning from Portland whore he has been to visit his wife who is in the hospital recovering from a surgical operation. ' Mr. W. S. McPherson. of Falls City. Nebraska, who ha been visiting his sis ter, Mrs. S. W. Evans, left this morning for Weston. ' Mr. McPiierson is looking for a hotel location, and expects to return in a few days with a view of possibly lo cating here. Persons wishing to mail letter at the depot box will bear in mind that there are now two boxes instead of one. The box located at the east end of the platform is east bound mail and the one at the west end is for west bound mail. The box in the center of the platform has been removed.- .
