school is divided into two depart
ments: No. 1 it for beginners from

the first three grades. Pupils come

dergarten system but far superior.
In No. 2 the grades are from 2 to
6. Here they graduate. Pupils
take one or two lessons a week as
they desire. No scholars will be

New York, April 8 The summer evan
gelistic campaign for New York will be
opened this evening with a meetino in
Carnegie Hall, in which the Rev. R. A.
Torrey ane Chas. M. Alexander will
take part. This will be the first time
they have been heard in thit city tince
their return from abroad, and the meeting
it expected to be hiohly successful'. Tra

meetings in neighboring churches. The
tpeakert. who will address the Carnegie
Mall meeting will also speak in the over
