I CLEANLINESS 1
As milk is the natural food for the
young, containing within itself all
the reguirentents of the body, and
as any adulteration is injurious to
the eystem, (either from absorp- ,
tion or otherwise) therefore the
health of the consumer, and espec
iallyj the- young, depend to a
great extent upon those who handle
the milk. And as there are so
many ways in handling the cow as
well as the milk after being drawn
from the cow. Every consumer
should visit the place from whence
he gets his milk (no matter if it is
surrounded by a high board fence)
and see how the cow and the milk
are handled before using it as a
food for the baby.

, That the Frazer Theatre company,
managed by K. J. Taylor, will be apprer
dated during its stay here, was shown by
the attendance and applause last night,
on the occasion of the company's first
appearance here. Although the weather
was cold, neverless the theatre was well
filled, and that the play was liked was
shown by the applause.
The bill last night was "The Black
Hand," a stirring four-act melodrama.
The scene is in the mountains of Kentucky,
and the plot hinges around a family feud
of mady years' standing and an outlaw
organization known as the Black Hand.
The play was well presented by Mr. Tay
lor's company, which in its class is one
of the best that has ever, been seen here.
There is sufficient comedy in the produc
tion to keep it from being too weighty. As
Herman Hochstein, a German, 0. S.
Cobb is a success, while David Williams
as Dick Day, whose feet and tongue both
stutter, was also ciever. Ti.wi iz n:t
poor member in the company.
K. J, Taylor appeared last night as Jim
Hopkins, and he played the part in his
usual capable manner. E. 0,
This company will open a week's en
gagement at Steward's opera house Mon
day March 19. '
DR. STOl ONflllUHD DYSENTERY
' "Some of my greatest successes have
been in this line. One of my earliest
cases was a little boy of four, at Macon,
Mo. He was trudging along the dusty
road with his destitute mother. Taking
the little fellow up, I began fumbling along
the spine. Some places I found hot, some
cold. Going deeper I found rigid and
loose places in the muscles and ligaments
of the entire back, while the lower spinal
muscles and tissues were in badly con
gested condition. I worked for a few
minutes on that basis and told the mother
to report next day. She came the next
morning saying that her child was well
Flux was then prevalent in Macon, where
I was visiting when this occured. That
mother brought othr ick children. As
near J oan remember. I ha seventeen
evert oases of flux nd ured all without
drugs. Other CM of sqmmer a,nd fall
diseases 1 was called to treat and ggn
found myself burdened with large prag.

Golden Medical Discovery." That state
ment, varied sometimes in form but
identical in fact, is one of the common
expressions found in the letters of tbotte
cured by "Oouieu ulcuUuI I?:: "
Sometimes the Ktatement runs; "I was
given up bv four doctors," showing a
desperate effort to rind relief in local
practitioners. Hut However tlie story
begins, it almost invariably ends with
the statement, " I am perfectly cured by
Dr. Pierce's (ollen Medical Discovery."
Persons suuenng lrom " weak" lungs.
hemorrhages, deep-seated cough, ema
ciation and weakness, have been restored
to perfect health by the " Discovery,"
The philosophy pf the cures effected
by this marvelous medicine Is not hard
to understand, line is sustained ny
food, digested and assimilated. The
basis of health is a good appetite and a
sound digestion, In almost all cases of
disease toss of appetite is an early symp
tom, ana tuis is promptly loiioweu oy a
wauling of the nesiu For some -cause
the food eaten is not being converted
into nutrition and the body and its or
gans, being starved, must grow weak.
There Is only one way to get strength
and that Is by food. Dr. Tierce's Golden
Medical Discover v Heals diseases ot the
stomach and allied organs of digestion
and nutrition,-so enabling the body to
assimilate the needed nourishment.
Thus various forms of "weakness," so-
called, are cured by the "Discovery"
"weak" lung, "weak" neart, "weak"
nerves, "weak" or sluggish liver, etc.,
because the organs are made strong Dy
food, which is perfectly digested aim
assimilated after the "Discovery hae
