ESCAPES FROM SURGEONS
Chicago, Feb. 12. A dispatch to the

this witness was next to worthless.
After summing up all the testimony and
cautioning the Jury that it was their
duty to bring in the verdict in accordance
with the facts presented and the law he
closed expressing the view that the jury
would have little trouble in finding a
verdict for the state.
J (After having been placed on the oper

which he smashed, and was chased about
the roof of the building for ten minutes
before he was captured. Although sev
eral bones were broken and he was in
ternally injured in an accident, the patient
still had great strength, and the attend
ants had difficulty in overpowering him.
