BRAND DRAMA
Althjuzh Ibsen "ths grand old man ' of
Norway." wrote the drama "Ghosts"
some thirty years or more ago, the deep
psychological significance, of tha work has
only lately been understood.' Within' the
past few years, psychology ' has been
studied, and in consequence Ibsen has
been better appreciated, and has become
fashionable. . To be sure there are those
who pronounce the drama ' immoral, but
the defense is made by Ibsen's admirers
that this view of "Ghosts" is due to the
superficial observation which does not
take into account the moral lesson por
trayed. Harry MestayerAwho assumes
the character of Oswald, in the presentar
on of "G mts,' to ba given Friday, Dec.
15, is said to be "born for the part.''
