Funeral Yesterday
The funeral of Jack Dillon, wbo
died Saturday night at the Blue Moun
tain bouse, took plaoe yesterday from
Henry & Carr's undertaking parlors.

Dillon was about 54 years of see and
had been employed by the Grande
Honda Lumber oompany lor s number
of years. He oame lo La Grande Sat
urday and was found io a dying condi
tion Saturday night. Medioal assist

Tbe Grande Ronde Lumber company
notified tbe undertakers that that
company would stand good for tbe
funeral expenses and said that be bad
a paid up insuranoe ia some company.
No trace of relatives oan be found and
all tbat is known about the man's pre
vious life is tbat be formerly lived in
Michigan.
