Thresher Wrecked
A threshing msobine belonging
to Jas. Wickecs, Walter Hill and
Wm. and Emil Miller, ol tbe Flat
was overturned Tuesday and damaged
beyond repair. Tbe thresher was
coupled to the engine and was being
farm to tbe farm originally belonging
to Henry Hog, but now the property
of A.J. Tucker. In reaching the
desired setting it was necessary to pull
up a ateep Incline near Mr. Tuoker'a
residence, and in going up tbe clutch
on the engine gave way and let tbe
whole outfit run down the hill. Tbe
threshing machine was overturned
several times and was smashed into by
tbe engine. The thresher is a total
wreck and cannot be repaired. Elgin
