FOR A' THAT"
Jan 1, As a boy I got acquainted
with every foot of the ground through
which our road will run. Later in
life 1 made a great deal ot trouble la
that neighborhood, and now I want,
in a way, to make amends by seeing
that my old friends and neighbors have
facilities for bringing their hogs,
cattle and corn to market. The road
will be operated both as a freight and
passenger line, and It will be
equipped with freight oars. It is the
purpose to ultimately extend the line
to JetTerson City, where it will oonneot
with the projected electrio road from
St Louis, thus making a through
electric railroad between Kansas and
St Louis."
