At ten forty fire the first thriugh
passenger train going west eincejthe
morning, of t' e ninth passed thrpuh
and was followed In rauid succeilon
by two more. The cause ot this on
geetion of trains was a wreck sk-en
miles west of Glenne Ferry and the
burning of a treesel between Onhrlo
Ontario and Huntington. The eck
wse caused by the brad end coll ion
between a west bound passenger ind
an east bound freight. In the colis-
ion the freight train sustained,' the
greatest Injury,- though there was no
one killed on either train. The en
gineer and fireman on the freight 1 rain
were both slightly scratched up bnt
were not seriously hurt As nen as
ran be learned bere tbe cause ot the
collation was a mistake in giving the
freight conductor an order stating that
the passenger train was two hours late.
Tbe passenger train was in two ieo
tlons, the first section was on time -but
the second section wss two boars fete.
